The moments of ecstasy and agony that lit up a thrilling race
The 2017 Tour de France will go down as one of the best in recent memory, culminating in Chris Froome winning his fourth title.
But it was filled with drama from start to finish. Who can forget Peter Sagan's controversial exit following his crash with Mark Cavendish? Or the terrible fall that put Australian challenger Richie Porte not only out of contention, but also in hospital.
Then there were the smiles from Canberra's Michael Matthews as he claimed two stage wins and the overall green jersey.
And, of course, the breathtaking scenery of France and the colourful fans that lined the route in their hundreds of thousands.
